Atlantis has its own Building Department to issue permits and make inspections for building within the City. Contractors must be licensed with the State and County and registered with the city prior to working in Atlantis.

with the city.

WORK IS NOT PERMITTED ON SUNDAY.

Debris Removal

The City does not provide garbage service for construction debris or debris generated by lawn maintenance and tree trimming contractors. Contractors are required to obtain a dumpster from Waste Management (547-4000) for construction debris. Vegetative waste and tree trimming debris must be removed the day it is generated by the landscape contractor.

Occupational License

An occupational license is required for all businesses located within the city. Licenses are renewed each year on October 1.
